Electric and hybrid cars still need expert care, but that doesn't mean going back to the main dealer. I've completed specialist training in electric and hybrid vehicles and advanced diagnostics, and I carry out diagnostics and repairs on Tesla and all makes of EV and hybrid.

Hybrid vehicles
A hybrid has a petrol or diesel engine working alongside electric drive, so it needs someone who understands both. I diagnose and repair faults on either side, and service hybrids to the manufacturer's schedule.
All electric vehicles
EVs are heavier than most petrol cars and use regenerative braking, so tyres, suspension and brakes wear differently. I look after the whole car, not just the electrics.

Can an independent garage repair my Tesla?

Do you work on all electric and hybrid makes?
Yes, all makes of electric and hybrid vehicle, as well as petrol and diesel. I've completed specialist training in electric and hybrid vehicles and advanced diagnostics.
Why do brakes on electric cars need checking?
Regenerative braking means the brake discs on electric and hybrid cars are used less, so they can corrode and seize. Regular checks help catch this before it becomes an MOT failure or a safety issue.

A diagnostic assessment is from £90 + VAT (£108 inc. VAT). I'll contact you with a repair price before any work goes ahead.
